So since none of our Texas family was going to be together for Christmas we decided to hold an early Christmas to exchange presents. Everyone gathered at our house since we actually had a Christmas tree set up to put the presents under. We ate some yummy dinner to start the night off.
Then it was present time! Of course the girls had the majority of the gifts to open and it was so fun to watch them.
Thanks a lot Auntie Lauren….this is a lenticular puzzle and gives me the WORST headache….so of course Mackenzie loves it!
Lauren had Adrian’s name and got him two Taylor Swift CDs. That smile is genuine…we’ve listened to the the CDs so much!
My parents got Mackenzie a chest of dress up clothes and a set of princess shoes. So of course that meant that the girls immediately had to start dressing up!
We also took some time to take a couple family photos.
We had lots of fun spending time as a family. Of course Mackenzie (and Skylar too) were pretty spoiled. We let Mackenzie open one of our presents to her as well so we’d have just a little less to travel with. We gave her a Barbie and walking horse, which has been a huge hit. My mom got me some beautiful jewelry. Adrian also got some really old maps of the US. I may not enjoy them but he was pretty darn excited.
